*Gucci (Mini-Goldendoodle F1b) and Hollywood (Mini-Poodle) Planned F1bb Litter around January 2023.
Now taking reservations!
Gucci (Female, Chocolate Merle, 17 lbs)
Gucci is our extremely sweet 17 lb F1b Chocolate Merle Mini Goldendoodle. Gucci is the strongest athlete of our bunch. She is very calm and a little shy, a classic velcro dog. She is the only dog I have ever had that really never had a "puppy stage"(i.e has never chewed things up, easy to potty train etc). She has a strong desire to please her mama (me), loves lots of snuggles and affection and reserves these most for her person but does enjoy attention from others as well. Gucci has a very curly coat and is very low shedding. She has been tested through Embark and is completely clear of the more than 200+ genetic conditions they test for including IVDD. The picture to the right is of Gucci as a puppy. Other pictures and information about Gucci can be found by clicking the "Meet Our Ladies"icon below.
Hollywood (Male, Parti Mini-Poodle, 10 lbs)
Hollywood ("Woody") is our stunning Parti Mini-Poodle stud. Hollywood is friendly, playful and loves companionship. Hollywood has a very gentle demeanor and is excellent with our kids and other dogs. Like most poodles, he is very intelligent and easy to train. He definitely has a "big dog" personality in a very small package. Hollywood has a curly coat and is very low/non-shedding. He has been tested through Embark and is completely clear of more than 200+ genetic conditions they test for including IVDD. Check this handsome fellow out by clicking the "Meet Our Gentlemen" icon below.
While we cannot guarantee the size or characteristics of any puppies we can make some very good educated guesses based off their parents genetics and traits and estimate this litter will be around 10-15 lbs at full maturation. You can view pictures of Gucci's previous litter (sired by Wrangler) on "Our Pup Stars" page or check us out on Facebook or Instagram at All American Doodle.
Mini Double Doodles
*Lucy and Wrangler
What is a Double Doodle?
A combination of two doodles or three doodle breeds, in this case the mini Australian Shepherd, Golden Retriever, and mini poodle. Like most doodle breeds, double doodles still typically look and act like a standard doodle being that they typically shed minimal fur and are mostly hypoallergenic. Additionally, they are expected to have mild temperaments and get along well with other humans and dogs. This particular combination of a mini Aussiedoodle and mini Goldendoodle is trending in popularity and there are many reasons why! To start, you can get a variation of colors and patterns including the ever so popular merle. One of the most important for our Australian Shepard lovers is that when combining an Aussiedoodle with two different types of doodles it makes this dog a lot less likely to shed. My favorite reason for this combination of double doodle breed is it is the perfect combination of playful, adventurous, yet sweet, highly intelligent, easily trained, and sensitive with a strong intuition.
Lucy Lu (Female, Blue Merle, 14 lbs)
Don't let this adorable face fool you! Lucy is our petite mini F1 blue Merle Tri Aussiedoodle. She has crystal blue eyes and weighs in at 14 lbs. Lucy is the most mischievous of the bunch. She gets a thrill out of being ornery toward her human and fur siblings and we enjoy lots of laughs because of this. She loves to play and has served as the surrogate "fun mom" to Hazel's litters because of her happy, fun-loving, playful personality. She has been genetic tested through Embark and is 100% clear and not at risk for the more than 200+ genetic health conditions Embark tests for.
Wrangler (Male, cream, 20 lbs)
Wrangler is our handsome 20 lb multigen cream Mini Goldendoodle. He is so good natured, a total cuddler and genuinely adores his humans. He is extremely patient and tolerant with his human children as well as his own puppies and enjoys teaching them all a thing or two about life. He is our daughter's favorite dancing partner and can usually be found just watching the kids play. He is gentle and has a kind soul. Wrangler has passed all of his health tests with flying colors. He has also been genetic tested through Embark and carries 1 copy of PRA-prcd which will not impact his health or the health of his puppies because it is a recessive trait and he will never be paired with a female who carries for this. Wrangler also carries 1 variant of IVDD. In some breeds, such as toy/mini poodles this variant is found in >80-90% of the entire breed. Also, through Embark this is only a linkage test and not as predictive of true genotype which nearly all other genetic conditions Embark tests for are. Wrangler is otherwise clear and not at risk for the more than 200+ genetic health conditions Embark tests for.
While we cannot guarantee the size or characteristics of any puppies we can make some pretty good educated guesses based off their parents genetics and traits and estimate this litter will be around 14-18 lbs at full maturation. This is Lucy's first litter but you can see pictures from Wrangler's previous litters on "Our Pup Stars" page or check us out on Facebook or Instagram at All American Doodle.
Why choose an All American Goldendoodle?
Besides their beauty of course, Goldendoodles and Aussiedoodles are a combination of the most intelligent existing breeds in the world. The Golden Retriever, Australian Shepard and Poodle are ranked in the top 5 smartest dog breeds in the nation. They are exceptionally loyal, gentle, well-tempered, easy to train and energetic; did I mention their minimum to no shedding coat making them a top competitor for families with allergy-sufferers! Although there is no such thing as a 100% hypoallergenic dog, we breed second to later-generation minis in an effort to ensure a more predictable poodle coat which are more likely to carry these hypoallergenic characteristics.
After doing a great deal of research, we have recently added Bernedoodles to our breeding program. Besides being strikingly beautiful these dogs also have exceptional temperaments and are known for many of the same qualities that Goldendoodles and Aussiedoodles are known for with their loyalty, affection, gentle-nature, eagerness to please, easy going personalities, and intelligence. This breed also makes a wonderful family pet and it's guaranteed that they will be a "friend for life" as they enjoy sticking close to their families! One thing that is greatly appreciated with the designer breed, Bernedoodle, with the addition of the poodle these dogs are also minimum to no shedding and also considered hypoallergenic!
All of these traits/characteristics are what we strive for at All American Doodle and work hard to reproduce. Additionally, “designer” breeds (or mixed-breeds) reduce the risk of certain purebred genetic tendencies (i.e. hip dysplasia, heart disease, and certain types of cancer to name a few) due to stronger genetic diversity; simply put, they are more likely to have healthier and longer lives.
I have studied and researched the doodle breed for many years before taking the leap of faith to actually get my first goldendoodle many years ago. I wanted an “all inclusive” dog that would meet both my professional and family needs, but also one that I could love on before (or even during) work without being covered in dog fur. As a Nurse Practitioner, I have both seen and felt the importance of emotional support dogs and service dogs and what they can provide to their beloved companions oftentimes acting as an alternative or catalyst to modern medicine. While this was a huge reason I fell in love with the doodle breed, I also wanted a dog that would be loyal to the entire family and playful enough (when I wanted them to be) to wear out the kids which is exactly what our pups offer!
